you don't need the creative lite program. you can use windows explorer to place MP3 or WMA files on the player. to my knowledge the library files won't play on the Zen stone. if you download an overdrive book and transfer the book to the Zen stone, that will work. they are DRM protected WMA files but will play on the player as needed until you finish reading the book.
