Hi Loren. When you open a file and then press CTRL+a the start and Finish markers will move to the extreme ends of the file if they are not already there. You cannot move them any further out than this, you can only move them into the centre of the file. It may be that your Zoom is set at the minimum increment and thus it would be hard to notice any movement. to check if the markers move open a file. Make sure the markers are at the extremities of the file, set your zoom to maximum and then try again. If they both work then fine, if not? I'm stuck. Do you have scripts installed as this will help you to know if the markers are moving, even in 1000th of a second increments? Walter.
