Chris I happened to play with this card earlier in the week and posted on the GwMicro support list. While I didn't purchase the card for purposes of using it with a synthesizer, I wanted to experiemtnt synthesizer, I wanted to test the concept. What I learned from the WE support list that only the d-talk 32 and the Via Voices will work using the secondary card and the latter only with a bit of tweeking. If you go into the We synthesizer menu, you will notice that d-talk32 allows one to specify a sound card while Sapi doesn't. So, in this gal's application, she will have to use her on-board soundcard for her software speech and the SB for her audio sounds. When I learned this, that ended my experimentation with the card for speech synthesizer use.
