I installed VLC, to give it a test drive.

Can anyone tell me how to select an output device other than the Windows
default device? In the preferences, under audio, I find a device selection
spinbox. But the choices in the spinbox are just numerals, not names of the
soundcard I want to select from.

If I'm going to give this thing a fair test, I'll have to play it through my
good card and speakers, not the el cheapos that I use for JAWS, and that are
my system default.

Blessed Be,

Dana
that's Dana, D A N A, NOT Donna, D O N N A
If your synthesizer pronounces them identically, instruct your customized
pronunciation dictionary that Dana=dayna.
