Hi Vinni,

Go into Gold Wave, Hit control+O and open the wav file.
Hit Alt+F and down-arrow to save As and press enter.
You will be in the filename field.
Press tab and you will be in a field where you can choose the file type.
Press down-arrow until you find the file type you want.
I hit it twice to save as MPEG (MP3).
Then you can hit Tab a few times until you get to a list of attributes;
where you can change the MP3 file attributes (128kbps/192kbps, mono/stereo).
Then hit tab until you get to the save button and press enter.

Subject: Goldwave, Changing file formats.

Hi,
    in recording a program in Goldwave, I forgot to save it as an mp3 file,
but I saved it as a wav file instead. I looked through the file formats
manual and attempted to change the file format from wav to mp3. I followed
all tthe prompts but couldn't find any evidence, including file size that
the file went from a wav to an mp3 file. Any suggestions.
    Thank you.
Vinny
