High Casey,
That problem sounds very familiar.
It sounds more like an integrated sound card that came with most first 
Windows XP generation computers that were made by GATEWAY IBM and DELL.
Is that what you're working on?
Because if it is, I know what the problem is, but first, I need to know a 
little more about your system and sound card.
