Hi loren,

I've been playing with the VLC media player a little bit and from what I've
seen while the focus is in the VLC window you can hit the enter key which
will move the focus to the beginning of the movie. If this doesn't do it
you can press shift-f10 and arrow down to the chapters sub-menu and select
the particular chapter you want to play. Hope this helps.

Jeff, if there's anything I'm missing any suggestions you have would be
great since you know this thing better than both of us. I'm trying to help
one of my friends whose not on this list with the same issue. Thanks a lot
for suggesting this player I've been testing it out for the last few days
and so far it's working great for me.

Tony

Hi Lauren:

Please visit this link for the tutorials on VLC.
http://www.videolan.org/doc/play-howto/en/ch03.html

If you wish to have WMP, you
might try visiting Microsoft.com/downloads and download and
install it again.
Upon install it will ceize control of the file associations.

Jeff
