It all depends on what you really want to do with the Olympus recorder.  I 
have the DS30  and like it just fine.  Now I will say,  I just use it for 
notes, and phone numbers, and messing around.  A speech are two every once 
an a while.  That's about it.  On HQ mono, which is what I use most of the 
time,   the DS30 will give you over 18 hours of recording time.
With excellent quality,  So again I would make your choices, according to 
what you really want to do  with your recorder.
