I just bought the 4 gb model of this player for my wife. All I had to do was plug it in and wait for the thing to be recognised. When it's recognised, and you open the drive in explorer, you'll find a folder called "storage or something like that. Open that folder and you'll find Music, Recordings, Pictures, etc. Open the one you want and then copy and past contents into the folder.
I haven't tried adding things on an external memory card though. Does it use, standard sd or mini or micro sd cards? -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Tim Martin Sent: Saturday, August 09, 2008 12:47 PM To: 'PC Audio Discussion List' Subject: Creative zen 16GB drive Hi all, Has anyone gotten any experience using the zen 16gb drive? If so, is there a way to copy files without using WMP? I want to copy some audio files to the player, but really would like to use Windows Explorer to copy the files. Any assistance will be appreciated.
