I've found a clumsy work-around for reading the track list, in the ripper component.

Tab to the track list, and press ctrl-home, to make sure you're at the top of the treeview. Press F3, and you'll be in an edit field, to edit the name of the 1st track. If you have a braille display, you'll be able to read the name in braille; and, if you issue a read line command, you'll hear it read aloud. But this IS an edit field, so be sure to exit it, with the Escape key, so you won't inadvertently change anything.

As for selecting only some of the tracks, to be ripped, the best work-around is still to issue either a Select All command, or a Deselect All command, and toggle individual tracks to the opposite state, using the spacebar.

As I said, clumsy, but workable.

Blessed Be,

Dana
that's Dana, D A N A, NOT Donna, D O N N A
If your synthesizer pronounces them identically, instruct your customized pronunciation dictionary that Dana=dayna.
