CDex can also do this.
1. Open the settings window with the f4 key.
2. Switche to the "CD Drive" tab.
3. Shift+Tab to the "Ripping Method" combo box.
4. Switch to one of the Paranoia modes. Personally, I use "Paranoia, Full" 
whenever I encounter an error.
5. Tab to the "OK" button, and activate it.
6. Select the track(s) you want to correct, and rip thiem. You can select 
with standard selection commands.
NOTE: Don't forget to put the "Ripping Method" back to "Standard" when done. 
When Paranoia is on, the rips are slower.
