Ray Ok. I stumbled upon the answer.
The forward command is alt+right bracket and the rewind is alt + left bracket. Left and right bracket, incidentally are just to the right of the letter p which is just below the numbers row. I don't have the fast forward and fast rewind commands yet. Also, remember the seek to function (ctrl + e) which allows for jumping to a specific time in a file.
