It will automatically use it I believe. I am not sure about that since I 
don't use IE. Just plug the proxy into IE and it should work. Don't ask me 
how to do so either.

Now, if your stream opens up in WMP or any external program other than IE, 
then you need to set up a proxy for said program as well.
