I'm kinda desperate at this point and hope someone on this list might be
able to help me out. I'd like to record all the audio and voice/mic on my
computer but having problem doing so. I am using an audigy 2 soundcard with
a plantronics 355 headset. I attach my headset and set windows sndvol32 to
record what you hear, and the sound comes out at half the volume as when
recording my voice with mic. To be exact, I'm recording my voice alone using
Sound Forge 8 and the mic level is pretty good. I then switch over to this
what you hear setting and the recording's volume drops about 50%. Anyone
have any suggestions as to why this is happening? Very weird.
