I have port forwarding working on my WRT54G running DD-WRT. I'm also pretty
sure it was supported on my WRT54G after a firmware upgrade from LinkSys.

If you want to set up port forwarding, the instructions at
http://www.portforward.com/routers.htm are pretty extensive and thorough.

Not all routers support it. My ancient WRT54G does not, but my Netgear 655
does.
