Right! Goldwave is not a multi track editor, to turn it into one you'll need Multiquence, as it stands Goldwave only edits 2 track files but yep! its probably the most accessible 2 track editor out there for the PC.

I understand that Sound Forge Studio i now a multi track editor - so it damn well should be for the price charged - however in terms of accessibility out of the box its very poor or, certainly Sound Forge Audio I have here is so I'm guessing that Sound Forge Studio isn't any better - .

Have you given Audicty a go?

Hey guys,
Alright, i need your input ehre. I wanna do some true multi-track
production. What is the best program to use with window-eyes, goldwave, or
audacity.
I wanna be able to mix 6 or 8 tracks together to produce shows, promos, ETC.
Any info would be appreciated. I have an extensive audio background, but
mainly have been using external digital editers such as a tascam 2488 stand
alone editer.
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Jed
