When you get the error message while you try to convert, one of the buttons
on that page is download. Hit that button and GW goes and gets the encoder
and installs it.
This 5.57 is pretty good. Even took my registration from the old version so
I didn't have to do it manually.

Hi,
I just upgraded from gw 5.25, to 5.57. As I was going to convert to
mp3, I discovered that my lame encoder was not the one needed by this new
version of gw. I am not great with computers, so I need to know where to
get a compatible version of the mp3 encoder, and where I put it when I get
it.
