How much does this software cost?

Hi vicky the software and hardware details are below.
VCR2PC. but the software calls it VHS2PC. but does the same thing.
it is a video player like you have at home with the tv but the only
exception it has a USB port to connect to the computer.
it uses a program called. Ion Easy converter. and the video is made by a
company called
Ion.
it is windows 7 and windows vista and xp supported for drivers.
very easy to install.
for a while I was wanting my sighted partner to click on the buttons,
convert etc. but recently was playing with it and found there are short
cuts that work but not in the normal way example.
to get to the convert button that takes you on to the video monitor so
you can preview what you want to record before recording as you can watch
it in live play before recording as well.
to get to the convert button, would be difficult without the short cuts
as the hole interface isn't blind friendly.
so to get to the convert button you have to do the following.
Alt+C. this puts you on the convert button, then you have to press enter.
this takes you in to the video monitor screan. as previously said.
now just put your video in and press play on the video. now your screan
behaves like a normal tv. but in a small box whilst streaming through the
program. when you want to record anything playing just find the place on
the tape.
then press spacebar.
now your in the title box. delete what's in the box, normally it says,
title here.
now type what you want to record the name for it.
now it is easier. when your ready to record just press.
Alt+R. followed by enter.
now this starts recording. to stop recordingv.press.
alt+S. it will ask you to conferm that you want to stop recording. now
press Alt+Y. then enter.
now it is saved. and the default place it saves is, my video's
and when you open it you can use any program that plays video. I think
off the top of my head it can save as AVI or MPG. don't try and play MPG
in windows media player as windows media player won't do it. winamp loves
these types of files.
don't have a moddle number to hand at the moment but they only do one
type that does it

Hi John, My name is Vicky. I also am very interested in converting my
VHS to DVD for archival purposes.
Would you be able to give me some more info about your machine, so I can
get one?
Do you know its make or moddle number?
What is its specialized software, that you talked about?
Is that software accessible to the totally blind?
Many thanks! Vicky

Hi adrian John here
I've got myself a piece of equipment called a. VHS to PC converter.
this is a video player that sits on your desk and attaches to the
computer using special software and also uses USB as well and
anything including camera's can be put through it and then you play
them on your computer like a normal tv and when your ready to put them
on to dvd first play the video, then hit record on the program it will
give a click and then it will start recording it on to your hard drive
then you can burn it to dvd with the same program or nero. I don't use
the programs built in dvd burner it isn't very relyable
