Not bad no! but the Ipod Nano's with their line out dock run a close race with 
it I have to admit, the generations of Nano up to the third were pretty God 
damn awful.

The Iphone gives a good account of itself too! when compared to the Iriver.  
Haven't tried the Nokia N85 or compared it with anything yet but - if my Nokia 
N95 is any guide - then its not even in the race, convenient MP3 player perhaps 
but not great sound quality.

The best sound quality I've ever got from a stand-alone MP3 player is from my 
all-singing all-dancing Pioneer DVD player I purchased 6 years ago and I paid 
an arm for at the time, $700.00 but of course that's not comparable to what 
we're discussing as you can't move it around <smile>.
