Not bad no! but the Ipod Nano's with their line out dock run a close race with it I have to admit, the generations of Nano up to the third were pretty God damn awful.
The Iphone gives a good account of itself too! when compared to the Iriver. Haven't tried the Nokia N85 or compared it with anything yet but - if my Nokia N95 is any guide - then its not even in the race, convenient MP3 player perhaps but not great sound quality. The best sound quality I've ever got from a stand-alone MP3 player is from my all-singing all-dancing Pioneer DVD player I purchased 6 years ago and I paid an arm for at the time, $700.00 but of course that's not comparable to what we're discussing as you can't move it around <smile>.
