Hi vinny,  you have no choice.
Because the file is already an mp3, the audio file that the software will create gives you a file only as good as the level of quality you had in the mp3 spec.

If the mp3 file is 192k and 44.1 or so you'l get a perty good recording out of it.
If it's 128 or less, the file will sound a little gritty.
You could use winamp or windows media to create your audio file disc.

I have a disk of mp3 files. I need to turn a folder of files so that they can be played on a standard audio cd. this folder is mono spoken word files. I know that the cd rate is 44100, What should the other byt rate be?
