Recently, I moved from Windows XP to Windows 7 64-bit and found that My version of Sound Forge 9 pro doesn't install, at least not without playing some games with registration. I checked out Sound Forge 10 Pro and found that the equalizer had changed and I have not found a way to reliably use it. I had heard that the equalizer in Sound Forge 10 could be used, but I subsequently found that apparently the reference was to Sound Forge Studio. Sound Forge Studio is pretty nice but it does not include the high quality sony noise reduction plug-in that Sound Forge Pro uses, and the noise reduction plug-in cost about the same alone as Sound Forge Pro. In addition, Sound Forge Pro allows one to assign keystrokes to various functions.
Is anyone here using Sound Forge 10 Pro, and if so, have you figured out an approach to use the equalizer? Any thoughts on this would be appreciated. Best regards, Steve Jacobson To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: pc-audio-unsubscr...@pc-audio.org
