Yep, you can use speakers for whatever you want but you get what you pay
for so a $150.00 of surround-sound speakers may not be the best for music.

I also stated - as have others - that if you're happy with what you ahve
then fine! enjoy what you have but for the price you paid for your
speakers - if you want music - then there are better alternatives.
