I know that the sqr crossfader plug in has a small compressor within it
self, I use to have that turned on when I was gigging as a DJ, but that was
before I heard about optimax for winamp.

Most people are now using the gain features of there media player to
normalize all mp3's individually, by album, folder, and/or playlist.

I'm going to do that but I haven't yet, I take the lazy way out and use

So that when I am playing MP3 files I don't have to reach for the volume

While going from file to file because some are softer or louder then
others.
I am using windows 7 home if that helps any.
And if anyone can post where to get any of these limiter suggestions.
So I would have an idea where to get them.
