Well, thanks for the command but files still are silent.  Could something
have gotten muted in winamp?  Or could something be waiting for a play
button?  Files play when I go back to Creative.

You probably have already thought of this, but alt-V (in Winamp) turns on 
the video and turns it off (it's like a toggle) like I said, you probably 
have already thought of it!
