Hello Brian
I use text aloud and it is not free but these days I prefer
a free program, Balabolka. It is very easy to use and I find
it much easier to select different voices.
Regards
Fanus

Subject: text allowed question

Hi list, some years ago, i installed text allowed on the
computer i
had then. i found it practically impossible to use, as i
couldn't tab
through the boxes. i have a more modern computer using
windows seven.
is anyone out there using test allowed, and how satisfactory
do you
find it. also, are there any other text to speech
programmes. i can't
remember now, whether text allowed is a free programme. if
it is one
for sale, i have no objection to paying for it, if it will
do a
reasonable job in conversion text to speech. i would welcome
opinions
and comments. brian.
