Just to put people in the picture, the Squeezebox line of products don't rely on drivers, they're self contained running their own version of the LYNUX operating system and thus their own firmware so all the user can do is update to the latest or download open source patches which have been developed by other Squeezebox users.
The Squeezebox Radio is no longer being sold, a newer version called the Logitech U.E. Radio now replaces it and I can't help wondering whether this newer version and facilities thus laid out may be causing the problem? Most unlikely I suppose, that's something to be discussed on the Squeezebox Forums page.
