I do know people who have used the Windows version of Protoos and they've not reported any significant problems, guess you'll have to try it for yourself to be sure.

Yep! I've been using it for quite some time, got it bundled with my Fastrak mixer about 3 years ago I think it was.

There are Podcasts around for Protools and the Mac so take a look with Google for more information.
