That's ok. I'm not sure if the Plextalk recognises the mms type at the start of the URL in my example or only http, but the steps are correct.
So far as I know, there is essentially no difference in the contents of the file between .m3u, .pls and .asx. The difference in Windows, is which program the file will launch by default. .pls will usually launch Winamp, .asx will launch Windows Media Player and .m3u will launch which ever one you have as your default media player.
