I will take a look at that but I did manage to find a local distributor for the iMic device, its about the size of a wrist watch and has a switchable input - Line-in or Mic - and a standard line-out/headphones socket, all controls for the iMic are controlled from the Windows Control Panel or the Sounds System Preferences on a Mac, price in Australian dollars is around $50, the perfect external sound device to have packed with your Macbook or other Notebook.
