the memo ap is the most confusing program I've ever seen.
The Ipad doesn't come with any recorder.
Also if anybody out there knows of a cheep lightning interface, please let
me know.

Its been a very long time since I used an iPhone but my favourite voice
recording App for the iPhone without a doubt was Voxy Recorder which was
feature rich and easy to use as well as being very customisable for
various situations, you could save custom settings to various profiles.
I had a profile set so I could “Shake” the iPhone, the iPhone then beeped
which indicated the start of recording. Once i’d recorded what was needed
to be captured I shook the iPhone again, a beep was heard to indicate that
the recording had stopped.
I would then arrive home to find the recordings I’d made whilst out and
about right there in my eMail In-Box.
