Hi Joe,
Thanks very much.
That did the trick, although I didn't used to have to do that.
I had to reboot my system yesterday after it had (apparently) been in sleep mode for too long, and my Window Eyes settings were bolloksed up. I've had to restore them manually and it appears that something is still not right with them. But at least now I don't have to go into the menus to get alt-3 to work, and I can worry about how to fix my Window Eyes so as to get rid of having to use the bypass key at some point.
Thanks again.
Evan

evan,

might you try your wscreen readers' bypass key first?

Thanks.

Joe

Nope, I guess I should have mentioned that I was in the Winamp main window when I was trying to use it. But I just checked again and it doesn't work even when I'm in the Winamp main window.

Make sure that your Winamp main window is open by using the keystroke Alt+W or just Control+Tab to it while Winamp has focus then try it.

I don’t know how, but for some reason, the alt-3 key in my Winamp has stopped working. I know it worked until very recently, because I use it fairly often to edit the tags of files I download. But it doesn’t work now. I can still go into the menu, and it does still say that I can use alt-3 to view the file info, but alt-3 doesn’t do anything now.
Does anyone here know how I can get it back?
Thanks very much.
Evan
