Hi

Under dsp/effect, there should be a section called media library. I would hesitate to delete or remove any of these plugins unless you're absolutely sure you want to get rid of them. The absolutely safest thing to do is to hit alt plus l and hide the media library window from appearing. If you really want to get rid of the plugins though, the safest one looks like it might be one called Nullsoft library, and another one called Online services. But like I say i haven't removed these, so approach with caution. I have no idea if winamp requires these plugins to function. That's why I've just hidden the media library window. Better to be safe than sorry.

Joe, Thanks so much for the response to my inquiry. I do not find the media library plug in of which you speak. The groups I see are input, output, visualization, bst effect, and visualization. I went through each of those groups and found nothing remotely close to what you mentioned. Ideas please.

press control p for prefferences.

go down to media library plug ins.

remove the on-line services plug in.

That should fix it.

I'm not sure that this is the exact plug in, but there are 16 loaded at
startup on this instalation so you may need trial and error.
