Hello list,

I have a small question about this program.
Some days ago two patches for Solaris10 sparc with the same synopsis "svccfg &
svcprop patch" came in.

They both contain /usr/sbin/svccfg, but with very different dates.

Patch-ID# 138241-01
Synopsis: SunOS 5.10: svccfg & svcprop patch
Date: Nov/17/2008
-rwxr-xr-x   1 root     root      286968 May 20  2008
./SUNWcsu/reloc/usr/sbin/svccfg

Patch-ID# 138217-01
Synopsis: SunOS 5.10: svccfg & svcprop patch
Date: Nov/17/2008
-rwxr-xr-x   1 root     root      286640 Nov 14 23:30
./SUNWcsu/reloc/usr/sbin/svccfg

The fingerprints database says:
 aa6eb555f98fcf9cdd0b0afd6f592ef5 -  - 1 match(es)

        * canonical-path: /usr/sbin/svccfg
        * package: SUNWcsu
        * version: 11.10.0,REV=2005.01.21.15.53
        * architecture: sparc
        * source: Solaris 10/SPARC
        * patch: 138241-01

978d19ead64e3cdeac58af908c0ace21 - - 1 match(es)

        * canonical-path: /usr/sbin/svccfg
        * package: SUNWcsu
        * version: 11.10.0,REV=2005.01.21.15.53
        * architecture: sparc
        * source: Solaris 10/SPARC
        * patch: 138217-01

So they both have the same revision.
The older file gets installed last by pca.

Could somebody explain this? Is it something to worry about?

BTW The patchdiag.xref is 9 days old now!

Thanks,
thomas
