I have setup a local patch server (that acts patch proxy and patch
depot). Following is the /etc/pca.conf

xrefdir=/pcarepo
patchdir=/pcarepo
user=xxxx
passwd=xxxxx
wgetproxy=http://gmdvproxy.acml.com:8080
debug=0

On the client side, I have following /etc/pca.conf file

patchdir=/var/pca
xrefdir=/var/pca
#patchurl=http://pca.acml.com/Patches
patchurl=http://pca.acml.com/cgi-bin/pca-proxy.cgi?
xrefurl=http://pca.acml.com/cgi-bin/pca-proxy.cgi?

The above setup seem to work very well for me. On the client side, if I
am applying a patch, if it isn't in local patch server, then I see that
on local patch server wget is executed, that patch is downloaded and
eventually client gets it. This is great.

My question is when is /etc/pca-proxy.conf needed ? Because, when I
create a pca-proxy.conf on the client side & patch server side (with
correct permissions). The pca download and install fails.

Let me know.

Thanks
