As the engineer said in reply to the SR back in 2012: " I had verified with the back-line engineer and here is the update, Tried to do this but was unable as there are 2 things which must happen: 1) you must agree to accept the license 2) you must log into MOS Even with the command line: /usr/sfw/bin/wget --user=xxxxx --password=xxxxxxx --tries=40 http://download.oracle.com/solaris/11_1/sol-11_1-text-sparc.iso The file will fail to download. So as exists it appears the automation of the download may not be possible from the Oracle site. There is no direct link to the download as a MOS login and an acceptance of the license agreement is required.. " The use of Pnnnnnnnn style patch numbers extends to other products (DB etc.)... I don't know that a cookie is set and read for licence acceptance in a uniform way.
