Hi, all: One open issue when we discussed draft-dw-pce-service-segment-routing<https://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-dw-pce-service-segment-routing-00> in IETF 91 meeting is how to support service chain in the segment routing, Rob concerned service chaining was not well supported in the current base segment routing draft(https://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-ietf-pce-segment-routing-00).
We believe this is true. To address this issue, we propose to remove service chaining or service function related text from draft-dw-pce-service-segment-routing<https://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-dw-pce-service-segment-routing-00> and use service segment to represent specific treatment offered by SR enabled node(s) in the path, e.g., [I-D.filsfils-spring-segment-routing-use-cases] describes using local service- Segment to stand for a BGP-VPN service.
