Hi All, Please provide your insights regarding the following query concerning RFC 8231.
Section 5.8.2 states that when an LSP has no working path, the PCC must send a PCReq message to the PCE prior to delegation. It further specifies that delegating via a PCRpt message does not constitute an explicit request for path computation, as a PCReq message is the only explicit method for a PCC to request a path. Since this is mentioned under the section "Switching from Passive Stateful to Active Stateful", I wonder if this also applies to cases where an Active Stateful PCEP session is newly established.
