Hi working group,

This draft extending PCEP-LS for use in optical networks has been around for a
while, but lapsed.
I've brought it back to life and updated it to handle my review comments from
early last year.

It looks like the base PCEP-LS document is stable, so it is reasonable to push
ahead with this draft.
I'm sure all the authors would love to hear from you about any issues or
thoughts.

I'll also poll CCAMP to see what they think about the optical bits.

Cheers,
Adrian

Abstract:

In order to compute and provide optimal paths, Path Computation
Elements (PCEs) require an accurate and timely Traffic Engineering
Database (TED). This Link State and TE information has previously
been obtained from a link state routing protocol that supports
   traffic engineering extensions.

Link-State (LS) and Traffic Engineering (TE) Information can also be
carried in Path Computation Element Communication Protocol (PCEP)
using exensions known as PCEP-LS. This document provides further
experimental extensions to collect Link-State and TE information for
   optical networks.
