My company (MacWorks/MacResQ) also sells a >USB/Firewire combo card made by Orange/Micro and it would suit your needs >if you have a 75xx/76xx machine. Hi, Josh, It's neat to have you posting. You've shared a lot of good stuff. I would suggest, though, that "7xxx," which you echoed from the previous poster, is a description which doesn't tell much about a machine. The 7100 and 7200 were different types of machine, and the 7500,7600 and 7300 are very similar machines. The 7100 did not PCI slots, so I suspect there are no USB cards for it. I am not clear what the 7200 had. The 7220 was a 4400, the "Apple Clone" with a PCI-bridge made with PC-parts by Apple itself. Was there ever a "7400"? It seems we need to be specific with these models. We could talk about "71xx" and "72xx" and "7220/4400" and about "75xx/76xx/73xx" models, as you do at the end of your posting. ("7300" seems to be the only time Apple counted backwards to introduce a simplified model of an existing machine.) -- Jim Dwyer, Munich, Germany -- PCI-PowerMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
