I pulled the vram out of a 8500/120 and put it into a 7300/200 adding to the two dimms . But its not working properly I'm getting vertical stripes on the monitor. Any ideas on what is happening? I pulled the RAM also and thats working fine. I've been looking at the 8500. Theres a CD bezel on it. I was thinking of pulling that and putting it on the 9500 so I can add an internal cdrw. In that way I guess it won't matter if the cdrw is bootable or bot as I'll still have the original apple cdrom in there. Only disadvantage is that I'd lose space for an extra HD on the 9500. Anyone any thoughts? I know I could add an external one but I don't want the extra cable tangle etc.
