He he.  The "age old' question.  It's right up there with the "what's that DAV slot
on my 8500's mobo."

That slot is for a rarely implemented SPIGA geoport ISDN POD, that allowed for
faster throughput than the Apple external Serial Port.  There were other devices
created to use that slot, but they are rare.  Noone really went with the SPIGA
option because the benefit was minimal and it was an expensive upgrade.
