Could be one or more of the capacitors in the PSU drying out, if you
can it may be worthwhile replacing them before the PSU fails as they
can kill other components in the PSU when they fail.
Start with the big one in the primary circuit (near the mains
connector) it will probably be about 200uf @ 300-400V or possibly 2
rated at 200v each.
the others that go are the DC smoothing caps at the other end of the
board, they will be 400-2000uf at 6-25V, when these fail the symptom
is a high pitch squeal at switch-on for a second or so before the PSU
shuts down.
This basic guide is for any switchmode PSU, not specifically the 7300.
