Hi Andrew,
No such troubles yet anyway :-)
Just installed IE 5, an hour and a half ago and went of to try a few
historically slow (for me) sites. No contest as far as being way faster than
IE 4.5 and easily faster than NC 4.5. Interesting browser colour options
but I miss the contrasting colours like in the revolving E and in the buttons.
Explorer bar not as obtrusive when in view - right, no quick font size buttons -
The Page Holder and the Scrapbook will prove very useful.
At first glance it looked like IE was emulating Netscape!

Using my 8.6 install CD for "custom removal" left a few things lying around
like the whole Outlook program and an E alias on the desktop but otherwise it
was a smooth transition. I've been wanting to try NC 4.73 or .79 but I'd
really just like to settle on one darn browser to stop the time wast of trying
to keep all the bookmarks or favorites in two browsers or trying to remember
which of the two a particular URL is in.

I still have NC 4.5 installed.

Night,
Terry
