Hello Nasrudin- Apple use to make available an internal comm slot II 56K modemfor the 6500 and the Twentieth Anniversary Mac. I use one in my Twentieth Anniversary Mac. ( Apple Telecom S/W was quite flaky even when it worked!) It was made by Global Village for Apple OEM. GV sold a special version of its GlobleFax S/W version 2.6.5 for $50 and it works with Kflex or X2 modems that your ISP uses. Maybe Zoom has some v 2.6.5 left over from its GV purchase. I consistantly connect to Earthlink at 46.6K bps with no dropped connections and their fax S/W very slick.
