Hello,

I have a PM 7600/120 with an XLR8 G3 300 and 1 GB RAM interleaved running OS
9.2.2. I have two hard drives in this machine on Bus 0: one a Quantum
Fireball 1280S (1.2 GB) with SCSI ID of 0, the other a Conner CFP4207S (4
GB) on with a SCSI ID of 1. The Apple CDROM is on Bus 0 as well, ID 3.

Every time I boot, I get the Conner drive loading just fine, bringing up the
OS just fine and dandy. But some of the time-roughly half- the Quantum drive
just doesn't want to mount. During the times that it doesn't mount, if I
restart the Mac, it appears. It only seems to not want to play when booted
from a cold start. Again, this behavior is erratic-it doesn't happen all the
time.

It has been initilized and driver updated, but the issue remains. I have
even tried to use SCSI Probe 5.2 to mount it-with no success. When it does
play, it reads and writes data without a problem, even boots 7.5.5 if I set
it as the boot drive. (And when set as the boot drive, it plays every time.)

Outside of living with the scenario-anything anyone suggest I might try to
convince Natasha to come out and play? Boris get's lonely by himself . . .

Thanks,
Troy

It sav
