 Here's something I've haven't seen suggested.  On my
7300, the mouse goes to the keyboard and the keyboard
to the computer.  If this is so with yours, then try
putting the mouse in the ADB port in the comp to see
if the mouse is dead.  If not then the the port on the
keyboard is, and get a new keyboard.  They're fairly
cheap, $5-20 on eBay or the swap list.  (like the Mary
Chapin Carpenter quote, I can't remember the
songwriter, though I know it wasn't her...  :).
