I don't know how that news got started.  They're all totally compatible.
What is not is the AV input card in one regard only:  The DAV connector on
the first revision will not patch to the AVID compression card designed for
the 5/6400 & 5/6500 series, but will connect to the rare and cool VCD
decoder card designed for the 600/6000 series performas, which with the
125mhz board and full ram, are nice computers which service VCDs fine and
will do iTunes well, so patched into a media center are not a bad &
inexpensive addition.
