  You might , if you use Eudora, try my solution.
I filter for anything From "mail.maclaunch.com," which also contains 
"Confirmation Request"
then I respond to it with stationary which merely says, Thanks.
  And I then transfer it to trash.
  That get rid of it without me even seeing it (except in my trash file.)
