It *sounds* like it's a NewerTech G3 upgrade for an 71/8100 machine, as described on this CPU upgrade rating posted to xlr8yourmac.com:

It *looks* like a daughter card for a PCI Mac (like a 7300). One thing's for sure, MAXpowr cards are definitely from NewerTech, which is in business again at www.newertech.com.
