Check Apple System Profiler to see what the CD drive's SCSI ID is set at.
If you have not changed the CD out, the oem ID will usually be 3 (a lister
says 4 in Sweden I think).
If the HD from 9500 is oem, it will prolly be set as 0, and may be
termination enabled ...
My 6400 didn't come w/a sled for the upper bay.
